What began as one woman’s journey from pain to peace has become a movement to help others rise, reclaim their confidence, and manifest their best selves.

Founded by Tomeka Tennille in Raleigh, North Carolina, B.A.W.S.E. Collections was created to inspire women to heal out loud, live boldly, and light with intention. Each handcrafted candle, curated kit, and empowering product tells a story — of strength, transformation, and luxury that speaks from the soul.

The Power in Choosing Yourself

There comes a moment in every woman’s life when she realizes that waiting for someone else to validate her worth is no longer an option. It’s the moment she decides to stand up, take a deep breath, and say I choose me.

For years, I poured into people who had no intention of pouring back. I showed up for those who disappeared when I needed them most. And still, I kept showing up because that’s what strong women do, right? We love harder, forgive quicker, and hold on longer than we should. But one day, I had to face a truth I had been avoiding: strength isn’t always about endurance. Sometimes, strength is in the release.

Choosing yourself doesn’t mean you’re selfish. It means you finally understand your value. It means your peace, your time, your energy ...they all matter. You begin to protect your space like it’s sacred, because it is.

When I started choosing myself, everything changed. My boundaries got clearer. My goals became sharper. And the version of me that once felt lost started to feel seen again by me.

If you’ve ever dimmed your light to make someone else comfortable, this message is for you. Choosing yourself is not abandoning others; it’s returning home to who you truly are. You can’t pour from an empty cup, and you can’t build an empire if you’re constantly trying to fix everyone else’s foundation but your own.
